  • In my own words, “embodied” is an ongoing practice of aliveness, wholeness, and presence with oneself.

    I say it is a practice, and not a constant state of being we should be expected to remain in at all times. However, we are able to use intentional strategies to help guide us back towards "embodiment” whenever we can.

  • The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and discuss what brings you to therapy. We'll talk about your goals and how we can work together to achieve them. It's also a time for you to ask any questions you may have about the therapy process.

  • Yes, I accept the following insurance plans for therapy services:

    • Aetna

    I do my best to support in verifying coverage prior to our first session.

    Additionally, I can provide a Superbill if I am out of network with your insurance plan which may assist in a portion of your out of pocket payments being reimbursed. Verify with your insurance provider prior to scheduling.

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) Therapy a wonderful and transformative modality, especially for those who have experienced trauma, anxiety, complex grief, phobias, or persistent negative beliefs..

    EMDR is based on neurobiology of the brain’s processing system and its ability to create new neural pathways towards more positive thinking. EMDR uses bilateral stimulation (eye movements, tapping, movement, etc.) to facilitate powerful changes in our belief systems and memories connected to trauma.

    No, EMDR will not make you forget painful memories, but it can help you to remain present and decreases levels of distress surrounding these memories.

    I am trained to provide EMDR as well as have completed further training to incorporate EMDR into play, sandtray, and parts work therapies as well.

  • Yes! I offer virtual sessions in addition to in-person appointments to accommodate the diverse needs and schedules of my clients.

    Virtual sessions are conducted through a secure online platform (Simple Practice) to ensure privacy and confidentiality.

  • I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice.

    Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of $75.
